Has WEEX run away? Compliance and transparency are the first steps to gaining trust.
WEEX recently announced that it has obtained a Bitcoin Service Provider (BSP) license issued by the Salvadoran government, which is the official qualification for legally conducting digital asset services. Although the license does not yet cover the entire market, it at least indicates that it is willing to be regulated and is taking action. In addition, I noticed that they have set up their global headquarters in the Dubai International Financial Centre (DIFC) and have formed an office team of over 600 people — among most crypto platforms I know of, this scale and transparency are quite rare. This means it is not the typical 'registered in Seychelles + servers in Singapore + customer service unresponsive' kind of exit scam structure, but rather a real, existing company with a physical presence, a team, and a storefront.
