According to TechFlow news on June 19, as reported by Cryptonews, following a cyber attack on Iran's largest cryptocurrency exchange that resulted in losses exceeding $90 million, the Central Bank of Iran has ordered all domestic cryptocurrency exchanges to limit their operating hours.
The new regulations restrict trading hours from 10 AM to 8 PM, which seems to be a direct response to the hacking of Nobitex. This move aims to strengthen oversight and reduce the likelihood of future incidents, especially during non-working hours when cybersecurity response times are slower.
