🎯 What is the average cost in Binance?
📌 When you buy a cryptocurrency multiple times at different prices, Binance calculates what is known as the average cost for you.
📈 This simply means:
It is the average price you paid for each unit of the cryptocurrency you currently own, whether you bought it at a high or low price.
🔍 Example:
You bought 0.1 BNB at a price of $640
Then you bought 0.2 BNB at a price of $660
The platform adds what you paid and divides it by the quantity = gives you the "average cost" (like $652.52)
💡 Why is this important?
If the market price now is higher than the "average cost" ✅ then you are in profit.
If it is lower ❌ then you are at a loss.
📲 You can see this number in the wallet section > select the currency > it is written below it "average cost"
🧠 Tip: Don't rush to sell during a loss! Monitor the market and review your analysis ✍️
