The Blockchain Group Expands Bitcoin Holdings:

The Blockchain Group, a technology firm listed in Paris, has increased its Bitcoin reserves by acquiring 182 BTC for approximately $19.6 million, raising its total to 1,653 BTC, valued at over $170 million.

This purchase, completed on Tuesday, was financed through recent convertible bond issuances totaling nearly 18 million euros ($20.7 million). Key investors included UTXO Management and Moonlight Capital, with transactions facilitated by Banque Delubac & Cie and Swissquote Bank Europe SA, and custody managed by Taurus.

The company reported a year-to-date Bitcoin yield of 1,173.2%, having added 469 BTC this year, resulting in gains exceeding $49.4 million. The average acquisition cost is around $103,000 per BTC, which is lower than current market prices.

Plans are in place to acquire an additional 70 BTC, potentially increasing reserves to 1,723 BTC. The Blockchain Group trades under the ticker ALTBG on Euronext Growth Paris, though its shares have dipped by 3.9% today.
