Urgent | Hack of the Iranian Nobitex platform and theft of assets exceeding 81 million dollars!

In what is considered one of the largest cyber attacks on cryptocurrency platforms in the region, the Israeli hacker group Predatory Sparrow claimed responsibility for hacking the Nobitex platform, the largest cryptocurrency trading platform in Iran, and stealing approximately 81.7 million dollars worth of digital assets.

🧨 The group vowed to publish the source code and internal data of the platform within 24 hours, warning that the remaining assets are still at risk.

🔐 The Nobitex team confirmed the attack and clarified that the cold storage wallets were not affected, as they promised to compensate affected users through an insurance fund.

📉 The stolen assets included currencies such as USDT $DOGE and $BTC , and analyses showed the use of wallets bearing politically directed messages.

⚠️ This attack comes days after the hacking of the Iranian “Sepah” bank, reflecting a rise in targeted digital attacks of a geopolitical nature.
