Recently, the crypto asset reached a historic milestone by recording more than 2,700 addresses that hold at least 1 million XRP.
This number marks the first time in over a decade that the XRP Ledger network has recorded such a concentration of whale and shark wallets. The latter are addresses that hold more than 1 million units of a cryptocurrency (whales) and more than 100,000 units (sharks).
Wallets with more than 1 million XRP represent a value of over 2.21 million dollars each, according to the current price. This volume of capital suggests a growing confidence in the asset.
In addition to massive accumulation, activity on the network is also growing, with an average of 295,000 addresses interacting daily over the past week, a significant jump from the 35,000 to 40,000 daily interactions of the last three months.
