The Israeli hacker group supportive of Israel known as Gonjeshke Darande (i.e.: Predatory Sparrow) has officially claimed responsibility for the attack on the Iranian platform Nobitex.

📌 What actually happened:

On June 17, 2025, the Nobitex platform was subjected to a major cyber attack, and digital assets worth approximately 82 million dollars were stolen, distributed across networks such as Ethereum, Tron, Bitcoin, and Dogecoin.

🔍 Exciting details:

The hackers sent the coins to addresses containing encrypted messages, and some are believed to be unrecoverable, meaning that part of the funds has actually been burned (i.e., become inaccessible).
