Today is not suitable for large orders; the possibility of a double explosion in both long and short positions is very high~
(Washington Comprehensive Electric) U.S. President Trump called for Iran to surrender unconditionally, with reports suggesting he is considering striking Iran's nuclear facilities alongside Israel. Khamenei immediately stated that Iran will absolutely not yield and warned the U.S. against intervention, or it will face irreparable consequences.
On Tuesday (June 17), Trump warned on social media that U.S. patience with Iran is running out and hinted that he could eliminate Khamenei at any time. He wrote: 'We know the exact location where the so-called “Supreme Leader” is hiding. Targeting him is as easy as pie, but he is safe there - we will not take him out (kill him!), at least not for now.'
Three minutes later, Trump tweeted again, demanding Iran to 'surrender unconditionally.'

Khamenei subsequently delivered a nationwide television speech on Wednesday, emphasizing that Iran will not accept imposed peace or war. He said: 'Wise men who understand Iran, the Iranian people, and Iranian history will never threaten this country, because the Iranian people will not yield.'
He warned: 'Americans should know that any military intervention by the U.S. will face irreparable damage.'
Iran's representative to the United Nations Office at Geneva, Bahreini, said on Tuesday that Iran is closely monitoring the U.S. level of involvement in the Iran-Israel conflict and will respond strongly, moderately, and appropriately when necessary.

AFP pointed out that one of the options Trump may consider is using U.S. bunker-buster bombs to bomb Iran's Fordow nuclear facility. This facility is located deep underground and is well protected by air defense systems, while the U.S. GBU-57 bunker buster can explode after penetrating about 61 meters underground. To date, Israel does not have such bombs that can drill underground.
Iran is in its most vulnerable position in 40 years; if the U.S. intervenes, it may take risks.
Geopolitical risk expert Marco Vicenzino told Al Jazeera that most people in the U.S. government agree on the necessity to terminate Iran's nuclear program, but there are disagreements on whether to push for regime change in Iran. However, he also pointed out that the pressure on Iranian leaders is increasing, and Iran is in its most vulnerable position in 40 years; the current Iranian regime is at a crossroads of life and death.
Vicenzino believes that Khamenei's hardline rhetoric is a posture to save face, but if the U.S. tries to overthrow the Iranian regime and destroy its nuclear capabilities, Iran may take risks that could lead to chaos in the Middle East. He pointed out that if pushed to the wall, Iran might attempt to blockade the Strait of Hormuz or bomb oil facilities throughout the Persian Gulf.
Former Iranian Minister of Economy Khandouzi proposed on Tuesday that Iran implement a permit system for passage in the Strait of Hormuz. Approximately 18 to 19 million barrels of oil are transported through this strait daily, accounting for about 20% of global consumption.
