Hacking one of the most famous cryptocurrency exchanges in Iran

The hacker group "Predatory Sparrow" linked to the Israeli entity revealed on Wednesday that it carried out a cyber attack targeting the Iranian cryptocurrency exchange "Nobitex", claiming that Iranian authorities use this platform to fund terrorism worldwide and violate sanctions.

The group stated in a statement that the Iranian regime relies on the Nobitex platform because operating in the cryptocurrency exchange is considered a valid military service, as it is vital to the regime's efforts. They warned that they would publish the source code of the cryptocurrency exchange and all internal information within 24 hours, and in addition, the hacker group clarified that any assets remaining there – that is, in the digital exchange – after that point would be at risk.
