How can I find different trading strategies?

One good way is to read books. Personally, I do not support attending what are called "trading strategy seminars," where you pay a hefty amount to attend these courses, and at the end of the two-day seminar, you lose no less than $3000, and you remain confused about choosing the most suitable strategy for you after having learned a lot from them.

Another type of course teaches you only one strategy that the trainer has successfully used; for example, Elliott Wave Theory is very common. I have not officially attended any course, I just read about it and watched some videos, but I do not like them as they are confusing for me.

I know that my stock trading course instructors will hate me, but I will express my personal opinions. I do not intend to enter into a debate with anyone on this subject. Everyone has the freedom to differ or adopt an opposing opinion and to post their comments in response to this question, and I will respect them even if their point of view completely contradicts mine.

After attending more than five courses and paying about $5000 for each course, I did not find them useful and rarely apply any of their ideas. Ironically, the free weekly videos I watched online are what I found most helpful.

So do not waste your money on expensive courses. I will recommend five books that you can borrow from your local library or buy to read as a start.
