Breaking! Ethereum experiences 'massive chip disappearance', exchange inventory is in urgent condition!
When I was reviewing on-chain data, I was completely shocked! The amount of ETH available for direct trading on exchanges has dropped to 7.3 million! This is the lowest point since 2015, just like supermarket shelves being crazily raided, leaving nothing behind! What on earth is going on?
It turns out that super whales are going on a buying spree! In just this month, those holding tens of thousands of ETH have collectively bought 1.29 million ETH as if they had agreed ahead of time! The level of extravagance in their purchases makes it feel like they know some huge positive news in advance and smell the scent of money!
Institutions are not to be outdone, joining the rush! It's not like the small retail investors making minor moves; some institutions have directly poured in $463 million, buying over 170,000 ETH! Moreover, funds are continuously flowing into the spot ETF. With so much real money entering the market, the pressure on the shorts is significant!
Also, everyone loves 'locking up' their staked assets, and the amount of ETH being staked has reached an all-time high! Over 34.6 million ETH has been staked for earning interest, and once this money is locked in, don’t expect to sell it in the short term, which is equivalent to 'disappearing' from the market.
In my view, this is simply a classic prelude to 'supply tightening'! The sellable ETH is getting scarcer and the exchange inventory is almost depleted, yet the number of people wanting to buy ETH is increasing, with whales, institutions, and stakers all scrambling to buy! The balance of supply and demand has seriously tilted!
So, can the price of ETH break through $4,000? I think the possibility is very high! The current situation of 'highly concentrated chips' combined with 'exceptionally strong demand' is like filling a rocket with fuel, just waiting for a chance to ignite. Recently, the price of ETH has been oscillating within a range, lacking just one explosive point, and I believe this supply crisis could very well be the fuse that ignites the price!
