#FOMCMeeting FOMC meeting conducted on 18th June 2025 in which The Federal Reserve kept interest rates steady at 4.25-4.50% making it's third straight pause.Despite strong pressure from former President Trump to slash rates, the Fed held its ground, reaffirming its independence. Trump hinted he might "force something" if inflation cools further and rates remain unchanged .

The updated point now show only one rate cut in 2025 scaled back from earlier projections of two. The Fed cited uncertainty from trade tarrif ,mixed labor data and geopolitical risks.
