Altcoins need to take off, but first, two actions must be taken
First action: Exchanges clean up garbage coins
Currently, 90% of altcoins are electronic waste, either lacking trading volume or the project teams are inactive and giving up. If exchanges decisively delist all these coins, the remaining projects will have to work hard—after all, if they don't put in the effort, they will be directly delisted!
Second action: Cut high-leverage contracts
Why can low-quality coins surge? Because they can only buy on the spot market to chase the rise! Currently, there are too many contract traders, and it's 100 times easier for manipulators to short the market than to drive up prices. If high leverage is cut, funds will flow back to the spot market, and manipulators will have to honestly buy low and sell high, giving retail investors a chance to make some small profits.
By implementing these two actions together, the market will naturally generate a profit effect: users enter the market → exchanges earn massive trading fees → the entire industry is revitalized. It's not that exchanges don't want to act; it's just that the situation is too big to change easily, but if they don't act soon, it will really go cold!
