This move extends the decision deadline by 35 days, until July. Although the SEC has already approved Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, firms are now competing for the first approval tied to XRP and Solana. Under President Trump and new SEC Chair Paul Atkins, the agency has taken a more lenient stance toward crypto, dropping several major enforcement cases.
