📘 What is MA60?

MA60 is short for Moving Average for 60 candles.

That is, it calculates the average closing price over the last 60 candles (could be 60 minutes, 60 hours, 60 days... depending on the timeframe you are using).

✅ What does MA60 benefit you?

Helps you know the general market direction.

If the price is above MA60 ➜ The market is in an uptrend.

If the price is below MA60 ➜ The market is in a downtrend.

🔄 What is a crossover? (Moving Average Crossover)

The crossover line means the moment two moving averages intersect (e.g. MA20 and MA60).

This crossover gives a buy or sell signal.

The two most important types of crossovers:

✅ Golden Cross

Occurs when the short MA (like MA20) crosses MA60 upwards.

Indicates the beginning of a strong uptrend.

Buy signal.

❌ Death Cross

Occurs when the short MA crosses MA60 downwards.

Indicates the beginning of a strong downtrend.

Sell signal.

🎯 How to use MA60 and crossover in trading?

On the 1-hour or 4-hour timeframe (for short trading):

Watch the crossover of MA20 with MA60.

If a bullish crossover occurs and the price is above MA60 ➜ Good buying entry.

If a bearish crossover occurs and the price is below MA60 ➜ Enter sell or avoid buying.

With additional confirmation:

Use RSI or MACD to confirm the trend.

Note the trading volume at the crossover: the larger it is, the more credible the signal.

🛠️ Quick practical example:

On a coin like PEPE:

If MA20 crosses MA60 upwards on the 1-hour timeframe.

And RSI was above 50.

And supports the price above MA60.

This is a strong buy entry signal.
