🤝 Circle has launched $USDC on Ripple's $XRP Ledger network
Ripple and Circle, the company behind USDC, have announced a collaboration to provide support for the stablecoin on the XRP Ledger (XRPL) network.
The initiative aims to improve the functionality of the ledger, increase liquidity on the chain and open up new opportunities for innovation.
USDC will be usable on XRPL for international payments, transfers, and Decentralized Finance (DeFi) transactions.
Ripple plans to include the Circle coin in its core application, along with its own RLUSD stablecoin. According to the company, Ripple Payments has processed more than $70B payments across more than 90 currency markets since its inception
