Can you make 100,000 with 1,000 in the cryptocurrency space?

An event that happened around me.

The shop owner downstairs was accidentally introduced to buy Dogecoin by a relative in 2013, and both of them invested 10,000.

Dogecoin rose, and the account balance reached 500,000; the relative sold and exited, advising the shop owner to do the same. The shop owner, seeing the cryptocurrency market booming, believed it would rise further, so he didn’t sell.

Then Dogecoin plummeted, and the account balance dropped to just over 1,000. The shop owner deleted the exchange app.

In 2022, Dogecoin surged, and when the shop owner heard about it, he re-downloaded the exchange app. At that time, I saw his account peak at over 8 million.

So how do we say about this question? Having witnessed a real case, I believe it is possible, but it requires luck + choice + perseverance; none can be missing.
