According to the latest annual financial disclosure document, U.S. President Donald Trump earned over $57 million last year from the token sale of the cryptocurrency project - 'World Liberty Financial'.

This financial report was publicly released by the U.S. Office of Government Ethics (OGE) last Friday, revealing that Trump earned $57,355,532 through World Liberty Financial and disclosed that he owns 15.75 billion WLFI tokens, valued between $1,001 and $15,000, indicating that Trump has potential voting rights in the project and may hold some influence within the governance structure.

According to the Form 278e financial disclosure guidelines of the U.S. Office of Government Ethics, such reports typically cover the financial activities of the previous complete year, so the declaration reflects Trump's assets and income situation for the 2024 fiscal year.

According to the official white paper, Trump and his three sons are listed as 'core supporters' of World Liberty Financial, with Trump himself being the project's 'Chief Crypto Advocate'.

However, the white paper also emphasizes that the Trump family did not serve as founders, directors, executives, or operational positions in the project, and formally has no direct connection to the business.

In March this year, World Liberty Financial just completed its latest round of public sale for the WLFI token, pushing 25% of the total supply to the market and raising as much as $550 million.

The total supply of WLFI reaches 100 billion tokens, and co-founder Zak Folkman has previously revealed that the ultimate goal is to release 63% of the token supply for market circulation.

In addition to the WLFI token sale, World Liberty Financial has recently been actively promoting the USD stablecoin USD1, which was airdropped to WLFI holders earlier this month in an effort to enhance usage with a community-focused approach.

This action is highly consistent with Trump's longstanding position, as he has publicly supported USD stablecoins multiple times, and it coincides with Congress's push for stablecoin legislation, making his supportive stance particularly noteworthy.
