Avalanche releases free NFTs, what is the game pass?
The Avalanche blockchain launched the free 'Avalanche Battle Pass NFT' today (6/17), a 'Battle Pass' jointly launched by Ava Labs, Playfull, and Magic Eden, allowing players to mint for free within a month.
The official announcement states that the free Battle Pass NFT adopts a similar 'Battle Pass' mechanism as popular games like (Fortress Heroes), allowing players to earn rewards by playing cooperative games. The Solana ecosystem also launched a similar Solana Game Pass earlier this year.
Ava Labs game director Parker Heath stated:
“One ecosystem, one Battle Pass, one user experience. We now have a variety of games ranging from 3A shooting games (Off the Grid) to classic MMORPGs (MapleStory N), all operating on their respective Avalanche L1 sub-chains. While L1 sub-chain technology enhances Avalanche's scalability, it can make games decentralized, possibly making each community feel isolated.”
To solve the problems of game decentralization and communities acting independently in the Avalanche gaming ecosystem, Ava Labs decided to launch the Battle Pass, aimed at creating an 'on-chain hub' to provide players with a system that integrates game progress, allowing players to earn rewards regardless of which game they enter.
Avalanche's Battle Pass NFT currently supports more than ten games, including (Off the Grid), (Spellborne), (Forgotten Playland), (Pixelmon: Warden's Ascent), (DeFi Kingdoms), and (The Arena).

Avalanche Battle Pass NFT is available for free minting for one month, players who wish to mint can follow the steps below:
Step 1: Go to the Minting Page
First, enter the official minting page for the Avalanche free pass NFT, you can click here to go directly.
Step 2: Connect Cryptocurrency Wallet
Log in to the Magic Eden platform using a cryptocurrency wallet (usually MetaMask), ensuring that the wallet has enough Avalanche ($AVAX) tokens for transaction fees; if not, you need to transfer from elsewhere.
Step 3: Execute Minting
Click the 'MINT' button; although the NFT itself is free, you need to pay a small amount of $AVAX as a minting fee.
Step 4: Complete Minting
After minting is complete, users can see their newly acquired NFTs on their personal collection page in Magic Eden.
Step 5: Register and Activate
After minting the NFT, users need to go to the AVAX Playfull website to register an account and link the cryptocurrency wallet where they minted the NFT in order to start earning progress and rewards by playing cooperative games.

How to get Avalanche free NFTs airdrop?
According to a report from Decrypt, Avalanche Battle Pass NFT holders can earn various rewards by participating in games. Once players complete multiple tasks consecutively, they can receive in-game NFTs and AVAX tokens as rewards.
The rewards of the Avalanche Battle Pass NFT are divided into two levels, one is the basic pass (Basic Pass), and the other is the premium pass (PREMIUM PASS), which costs $10 to purchase and provides more rewards.
Players need to click on the MISSIONS tab to see what tasks need to be completed. After a general browse, it is found that most are related to completing game registrations, simple tutorial levels, as well as simple community tasks like following an X account and joining a Discord group. The final task will reward a small amount of $AVAX tokens airdrop reward (0.25 $AVAX or 0.75 $AVAX).

However, the author has not yet discovered any quests related to MapleStory N. Interested players can continue to stay tuned.
Ava Labs game director stated that the (Off the Grid) game has been performing well recently, maintaining more than 300,000 players daily even during the transition to the GUNZ mainnet. He also mentioned that (MapleStory N) has attracted over 770,000 players since its launch in May this year.
