After Bitcoin (#BTC ) broke through a new high, it did not experience a significant drop in volume and remains strong above the MA21 mid-line trend. People's sentiment has not shown any crazy behavior as a result.
This may mainly be because this new high has nothing to do with most people, as many might have already cleared out at 70k, 60k, or 80k, just waiting for the bear market to drop back to 30k or 40k to re-enter the market.
There are also some people who missed out on BTC, trying to find some compensation in altcoins, but ended up being washed out even worse by the altcoins. Meanwhile, mainstream coins like ETH, and even those older coins like XRP, UNI, BCH, and AAVE have performed well in this round. This is also because most people are not in the game.
Now, the conclusion most people have drawn is that altcoins can't be played anymore, and Bitcoin is already at a high position. Ironically, the more this happens, the more the subsequent altcoins may be worth looking forward to.
After all, people tend to summarize afterwards and then rely on that path to take the next action, while the market often moves in the opposite direction.
