This is not a feel-good story of 'turning around with a million-dollar liquidation in one night', nor a myth of 'getting rich from insider information', but the true process of how I grew from $10,000 to $50,000 to $100,000 in the crypto space. It involves strategy, luck, and many 'anti-human' aspects you might overlook.
🧩 Starting Point: What can you do with only $10,000?
By the end of 2023, I had just over $10,000 left in my account.
This isn't my first time in the circle, nor my first time losing everything and starting again. But this time I swear: no more all-in, no more chasing highs, and no more fantasizing about miracles like 'this wave will double my investment'.
So I set three strict rules for myself:
Don't chase prices: Never buy after a rise of more than 20%.
Enter in batches: Never go all in at once, even if you're certain, only invest 1/3 of your capital.
Plan your exits: Set profit-taking points before buying; don't expect to sell at the peak.
🎯 First Wave Profit: Stealthy altcoin + fundamental layout
I selected a few small-cap coins that are at the forefront of the narrative based on the fundamentals of the projects.
For example:
$PYTH (price feeding sector)
$ENA (newly launched L2 chain)
$TNSR (NFT infrastructure)
$NTRN (Celestia ecosystem)
$ZETA (oracles/infrastructure)
I didn't go all in on these coins but allocated a maximum of $1000 to $1500 per project, slowly entering during their consolidation or pullback phases, holding for 1 to 3 weeks.
How are the earnings?
PYTH: $1400 → $3200
ENA: $1200 → $2600
NTRN: $900 → $1900
A few others slightly took profits or had small losses.
In total, I grew from $10,000 to $19,000 in less than 40 days, the key is: I didn’t do much, just relied on 'buy low + sell without greed'.
🧨 Second Wave Eruption: I also played the meme market, but I have my bottom line.
You think I don't play memes at all? Wrong, I do play, but I know this thing is 90% death and 10% life.
I made two short-term trades, and only one was truly profitable:
$PEPE2: I bought $800 with a small position; the community just started to become active, and it tripled in two days → I sold.
$SLERF: FOMO in, $2000 → lost to $1200
After final calculations, the meme contributed a net profit of about +$1700, not much, but lucky.
Experience:
"You can play memes, but don't fantasize about changing your fate with memes. It's a casino, not an investment."
🔁 Phase Three: Compound growth + stability relies on rhythm
After having over $20,000, I didn't rush to go heavy on positions.
I did two things:
I took $5000 for spot swing trading, continuing to position in second-tier potential coins, such as L2 and small coins.
I divided $3000 into several portions to invest in a few early project whitelists. Although the returns are slow, the safety is worth it.
I kept $10,000 for stable arbitrage (not using bots/not flipping), such as joining a stable annualized fund pool (8-12%).
After doing this for two months, the total account grew from just over $20,000 to around $50,000.
There was no explosive rise or fall during this period. Just relied on 'keeping control and managing risks'.
💡 My experience summary (suitable for most people)
Principles Core Logic
Don't rely on critical hits. Getting rich overnight is a trap, not a path.
The goal is to survive. Preserving capital is more important than doubling it; only if your capital is intact do you have a chance.
Without inside information, do your homework. Look at on-chain data, official sources, and community dynamics; don’t just stare at candlestick charts for emotional trading.
Small funds need to be flexible. It's not suitable to go heavy on BTC or ETH; it's more efficient to position in early or narrative-based small coins.
Profit should be realized in time. It's not necessary to go all in; withdrawing is the best respect for yourself.
🚧 For those who want to grow from $10,000 to $100,000:
There is no 'fast pass script' on this road, only one thing:
Defeat volatility with time, defeat greed with discipline.
Don't envy others' screenshots; 90% of posts about huge profits hide 99% of loss histories you haven't seen. If your account is still alive, you've already won against most people.
I have now grown from $10,000 to nearly $70,000, with a goal of hitting $100,000 by the end of the year. I might not achieve it, but as long as I maintain my rhythm, I'm not afraid of being slow.
