I set a goal for myself six months ago to write at least one post every day. Up to now, no matter how busy I am, I have managed to stick to it.

That's just how I am; whenever I think of something, I want to do it until I hit a wall or get results.

Looking back on my career since graduating from university, it has been quite interesting for me personally.

When I first started my internship at the telecommunications company, there were over 800 people in my department, and within six months, I ranked third in departmental performance.

However, I don’t feel anything about it because I learned that senior management salaries are just over ten thousand. The only advantage of state-owned enterprises is stability. There are many employees around me who have been working for over ten years and can see their future for the next ten years, but I am not content with that.

Later, I felt there were many opportunities in the internet industry, so I resolutely quit my job and switched industries. Of course, I spent several tens of thousands on tutoring classes. During that time, I started studying at 9 AM and finished at 9 PM, and I also had classes on weekends. That was when I began to experience the 996 work culture.

The salary at the internet company I joined was only 5,000 yuan, but at that time, I didn't know what motivated me. Every week, besides the projects assigned by the company, I would take some time to study and practice, and I set a rule to produce my own work every week. I really persisted without fail; at that time, I didn’t know what this would bring me.

Of course, it was also because of my work that I successfully moved from a small company to a foreign enterprise, and later through the foreign enterprise, I joined JD.com.

Although my salary was already quite high at JD.com, I didn’t feel satisfied. I believed that the benefits it brought me were a result of my long-term low-level labor, which I needed to maintain, and that’s not what I wanted. So I started looking for new opportunities again.

Then, I successfully joined a web3 company through a headhunter, which marked the beginning of my journey into the cryptocurrency world.

I find it miraculous that during my time in tutoring classes, working 996 every week, I didn't feel tired at all; instead, I was very excited. My habit of sleeping in class, which I had since childhood, didn't appear even once during that period.

When I transitioned from a small company to a foreign enterprise, my boss at the small company had already raised my salary to 9,000. To keep me, he even said he was willing to give me a raise. People around me advised me that since I had been there for a year, there was no need to go to a new environment. The salary was indeed high, but what if I couldn't meet expectations and got fired? At that time, the salary from the foreign enterprise was already double. In the end, I still followed my own choice and joined the foreign enterprise.

When I moved from JD.com to a web3 company, everyone felt that I was leaving a good internet giant to go into an industry that wasn’t favored by many people, which was simply xxx.

Of course, there were many interesting little episodes in between, and I can continue to write about them organically.

I really find it amazing that in nearly 10 years of work experience, every choice I made didn't seem to be particularly deliberate, but they were all the best choices I could make with my understanding at that time. I am grateful that the path I have walked down has been the best choice.

So I believe that what a person has after the age of 45, whether it is wealth or status, is definitely a summary of that person’s entire understanding.
