Strategy, founded by Michael Saylor in 1989, announced on this Monday (16) the purchase of $1 billion in Bitcoin. The company took advantage of the market drop due to tensions between Israel and Iran to get a good price on its investment.

According to a document, Strategy bought 10,100 bitcoins at an average price of $104,080 per unit, very close to the bottom recorded last Thursday (12).

At the time of this writing, Bitcoin is quoted at $106,600, already putting the company in profit.

Michael Saylor believes that Bitcoin will reach $1 million.

The announcement of the purchase was made by Michael Saylor through social media. Strategy is approaching a mark of 600,000 bitcoins in cash, widening the gap from other companies focused on accumulating Bitcoin.

"Strategy acquired 10,100 BTC for approximately $1.05 billion (R$ 5.81 billion), around $104,080 per bitcoin, and obtained a BTC yield of 19.1% accumulated by 2025. On 06/15/2025, we hold 592,100 BTC acquired for approximately $41.84 billion, about $70,666 per bitcoin. $MSTR $STRK $STRF $STRD"

In another recent tweet, Saylor points out that "if it doesn't go to zero, it will go to a million."
