#MetaplanetBTCPurchase Metaplanet Inc., a publicly traded company on the Japanese stock exchange that has a key strategy of buying and holding Bitcoin, has acquired an additional 1,112 Bitcoin (BTC) valued at 117.2 million dollars, at an average price of 105,435 dollars per BTC. This raises its total holdings to 10,000 BTC as of June 16, 2025.

With this purchase, Metaplanet surpasses Coinbase (COIN), which holds 9,267 BTC, and becomes the ninth largest holder of Bitcoin worldwide among public companies.
