🔚 Last Bitcoin mined: $BTC The end that will create a new beginning!

Although Bitcoin today seems to be at its peak, there is a moment coming – and although it has been long awaited – when the last Bitcoin will be announced to be mined on Earth. This expected moment will occur in 2140, more than a century from now, according to the original design of the Bitcoin network which does not allow exceeding a cap of 21 million coins.

Every four years or so, the mining reward is halved in an event known as "halving," and this is what makes the issuance of new coins slower over time. Today, there are only about 2 million coins left to be mined, after more than 19 million units were extracted since Bitcoin's launch in 2009.

After the last coin is mined, miners will no longer receive block rewards but will rely entirely on transaction fees to continue operating the network.

This distant date does not mean the end of Bitcoin, but rather the beginning of a new era of absolute scarcity, which may enhance its value more and more over time.
