U.S. President Donald Trump, along with his family, is launching his own mobile operator Trump Mobile and presenting a gold-plated Android smartphone, the T1 Phone, made in the USA. Both products are handled by the Trump Organization, led by Trump's sons — Eric Trump and Donald Trump Jr.

The T1 Phone is already available for pre-order at a price of $499, and its release is scheduled for September 2025. The smartphone features a 6.8-inch AMOLED display with a camera cutout and a refresh rate of 120 Hz.

On the back is a camera module, the design of which resembles the latest iPhone models. It includes three sensors: a main 50-megapixel sensor, a 2 MP depth sensor, and a 2 MP macro lens. On the front, there is a 16-megapixel selfie camera.

The T1 Phone also has 256 GB of built-in storage, 12 GB of RAM, and an as yet unknown processor. The device is powered by a 5000 mAh battery with 20W charging support. It is also equipped with a fingerprint scanner, facial recognition feature, and even a 3.5 mm headphone jack. The smartphone will run on Android 15.

Do you think the price of $499 for Donald Trump's gold-plated smartphone T1 with such specifications and branding is justified?
