Additional Bitcoins Worth $1.1 Billion
MicroStrategy, a business intelligence company specializing in business software, announced its acquisition of an additional 16,130 Bitcoins worth $1.1 billion.
According to a report submitted by the company to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission on Tuesday, MicroStrategy purchased the cryptocurrency at an average price of $68,806 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses, during the period from 09/04/2024 to 29/04/2024.
The company now holds a total of 214,400 Bitcoins, acquired at a total cost of approximately $7.53 billion and at an average price of $35,160 per Bitcoin, including fees and expenses.
