BlockBeats news, on June 16, according to Protos, U.S. prosecutors have filed a motion to prevent expert witness testimony from Tornado Cash founder Roman Storm. The prosecutors claim they are 'Trojan horses' that would waste the jury's time and confuse jurors' understanding of privacy, token economics, and KYC. This means that Roman Storm's defense team needs more time to respond to the large volume of documents attempting to eliminate eight defense arguments. The prosecutors even opposed extending the time by two days.

In addition, there are reports that the U.S. Department of Justice has withdrawn the 'unlicensed money transmission' charges against Roman Storm and no longer classifies Tornado Cash as a 'financial institution', but retains the money laundering charges. It is reported that Roman Storm's trial is expected to begin on July 14 in New York, and Vitalik and the Ethereum Foundation have expressed their support for him.
