Let's take a look at our voting situation 👇
❌ #1587 Snowbridge milestone payment (about 5 million USDT)
polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1587
After the second internal evaluation, still vote NAY (against).
We recognize the team's past deliverables, but we are concerned about the proposed $10 million incentive bonus – while the current TVL is only $60 million. There is a lack of adoption plans; the income stream from the bridge is also unclear. We believe that treasury rewards should be based on value creation.
❌ #1589 dAppForge Phase Four Milestone (108,000 USDC)
polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1589
Currently voting NAY, but we are willing to reconsider if the proposal adds the following content:
1️⃣ Clearly specify a point in time for the community to decide whether to transition from a free model to a paid model
2️⃣ If transitioning to paid, propose a reasonable profit-sharing ratio for community voting on whether to return part of the profits to the treasury
❌ #1593 WAGOI: Web3 × European Data Economy (660,000 USDC)
polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1593
Currently voting NAY, but we are open-minded.
If the proposal clearly adds a mechanism of "willing to share profits with the treasury after project verification," we will reconsider support.
✅ #1595 RegionX Hub – Coretime UI design (49,000 USDT)
polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1595
Vote AYE (support) – unanimously passed.
Coretime UI design is clear, needs segmented by user type, workload and salary correspondence is clear, and budget cost-performance is high.
Members stated: This is currently the favorite proposal, and the review process was very smooth!
✅ #1608 Polkadot Payment Card (PCF x Baanx)
polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1608
Vote AYE (two-thirds support)
This is a good proposal for promoting DOT usage. However, we suggest clarifying:
• How are the profits distributed? Is there a benefit mechanism for the treasury?
❌ #1611 JAMTON Cross-chain Layer Phase Two (99,200 USDT)
polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1611
Vote NAY (two-thirds against)
Although the proposal goals are exciting (bridging, Orderbook DEX, EVM compatibility, etc.), they lack measurable KPIs:
• There are no targets for user numbers, transaction volumes, TVL, integration protocols, etc.
✅ #1612 Subsquare feature development (444,000 USDC)
polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1612
Vote AYE – full support.
Subsquare continues to optimize the OpenGov user experience. The budget is clear, costs are reasonable, and the delivery plan is explicit.
✅ #1598 #1601 #1604 #1605 #1606 #1609 #1610
Polkadot Ambassador Program member compensation application
polkadot.subsquare.io/referenda/1598
Vote AYE
Members have completed the task and returned the original funds; this is a transparent compensation application.
We suggest: In the compensation application, it is necessary to specify each member's role and specific contributions.

🧠 Last week's OpenGov reflections
We find that there are still many "investment-type" funding needs in the ecosystem. Even if the project parties are not developing open-source infrastructure, they are indeed building products that can bring on-chain activity.
These teams often need support in the early stages. As DV, we hope that the treasury can benefit from the success of the projects in the future. Therefore, we often ask:
"Will future project profits be partially returned to the treasury?"
But the team's response is often:
"Bringing on-chain activity to Polkadot is also a form of return."
Indeed, currently "returns" are understood in two ways:
1️⃣ Direct economic returns – such as @Bifrost's interest-bearing reimbursement or profit-sharing mechanism
2️⃣ Indirect ecological positive feedback – resulting in user growth, increased address numbers, increased TVL, or increased interaction frequency
We believe that at the current stage, the second type of return is still very meaningful.
If a product successfully launches with the support of the treasury, truly attracts users, and verifies the business model, thereby gaining more investor attention – this is a positive push for the entire @Polkadot ecosystem.
