Donald Trump Earns Tens of Millions of Dollars from Crypto
The President of the United States, Donald Trump, has just announced his first public financial report since taking office again. In the report, he mentioned earning up to US$57.35 million from the sale of crypto tokens at his company, World Liberty Financial.
Not only that, Trump is also recorded to still hold 15.75 billion governance tokens from that crypto project. The document signed on June 13 seems to reflect his ownership until the end of December 2024, thus not yet covering his family's crypto income for this year.
The report also highlights other sources of Trump's wealth, ranging from real estate to social media. Most of his wealth is reported to come from his shares in Trump Media & Technology Group, the owner of the Truth Social platform.
Besides crypto, Trump reported significant income from three golf resorts in Florida that generated at least US$217.7 million. He also earned US$5 million from licensing fees for a real estate project in Vietnam, while the White House has not yet commented on this report.
