#TrumpBTCTreasury Donald Trump has expressed his intention to make the United States the "world capital of cryptocurrencies." To this end, he signed an executive order establishing a "Strategic Bitcoin Reserve" and a "U.S. Digital Assets Reserve."
The Bitcoin Reserve will initially be capitalized with Bitcoins seized in criminal or civil forfeiture proceedings. Additionally, the Departments of the Treasury and Commerce are authorized to develop strategies to acquire more Bitcoin at no additional cost to taxpayers. This measure aims to position the U.S. as a leader in the field of digital assets, considering Bitcoin as a key instrument for financial freedom and national prosperity.
