A recent disclosure from the Office of Government Ethics (OGE) reveals that President Donald Trump earned over $57 million from the sale of tokens from a U.S. platform. This agreement, dated June 13, 2025, details that Trump signed a deal with World Liberty Financial last October, allowing him to pocket this substantial amount.
The document, which spans over 230 pages and lists the president's assets, specifies that Trump received $57.35 million from the sale of tokens from World Liberty Financial. The president, who in January, just hours before his inauguration, lent his name to this new company and launched his own digital currency, $TRUMP , breaking with the tradition of U.S. presidents to publicly disclose their income tax returns.
World Liberty Financial issued one hundred billion tokens, of which approximately 22.5 billion were allocated to DT Marks DeFi, a company linked to Trump.
