Michael Saylor has once again increased the company's Bitcoin holdings through Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy). In the first week of June 2025, the company purchased 1,045 BTC worth $110 million, at an average price of around $105,000 per BTC.
With this purchase, the total holdings of Strategy now reach 582,000 BTC, making it the largest public institution in Bitcoin accumulation.
This transaction is funded through a common stock sales program (equity ATM), reinforcing the aggressive financing pattern they have applied since the beginning of the bull run.
Important Note:
The purchase price has risen significantly compared to the previous average ($70,000/BTC)
This strategy strengthens institutional confidence in BTC as a long-term reserve asset.
Risks remain high in the event of a sharp market correction, given the leveraged funding structure.
Is this a signal for continued accumulation for retail? Or rather a sign of distribution as prices start to rise?
