I LOST $4,000 IN A P2P CRYPTO SCAM — DON’T MAKE MY MISTAKE 💔💸
I never thought it would happen to me.
But it did.
And if you trade P2P, it could happen to you too.
Writing this hurts — but if it protects even one of you, it’s worth it. 🙏
🔁 THE SETUP LOOKED PERFECT...
A few months ago, I listed USDT for sale on a P2P platform. A buyer contacted me. Everything looked legit:
✅ Verified profile
✅ 97%+ completion rate
✅ Dozens of positive reviews
Then came a payment screenshot — full transaction ID, bank stamp, timestamp.
It looked real.
It felt safe.
👉 I clicked “Confirm Receipt”.
That one click cost me $4,000.
⏳ TIME PASSED… BUT NO MONEY
Minutes… nothing.
Hours… still nothing.
I called my bank — no transaction.
I contacted Binance — but I had already clicked confirm.
They couldn’t help.
Tried reaching the buyer?
Blocked. Disappeared. Gone.
🚨 WHERE I MESSED UP:
❌ Trusted a screenshot instead of checking my actual bank account
❌ Rushed to confirm just to "close the deal"
❌ Ignored my gut feeling — and paid the price
⚠️ WHAT YOU SHOULD NEVER DO:
1️⃣ NEVER confirm until funds are in your bank — not just a receipt
2️⃣ Don’t trust screenshots — anyone can fake them in seconds
3️⃣ If they rush you — RUN. Real buyers won’t pressure you
I lost $4,000… trying to save 5 minutes.
That’s a hard lesson I’ll never forget.
Please — slow down, double-check, and trust your instincts.
In P2P trading, one click can cost your whole wallet. 🛡️
