#TrumpBTCTreasury The U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission has repealed a set of proposed rules by the agency under the Biden administration, including two related to the custody of crypto assets and exchanges.

The SEC said on Thursday that it was "withdrawing certain notices of proposed regulation" that were issued between March 2022 and November 2023 under former chairman Gary Gensler.

The agency added that it "does not intend to issue final rules regarding these proposals," and that new rules will be proposed if it changes its stance in future regulatory actions.

This is the latest regulatory rollback from President Donald Trump, who has promised a radical deregulation of the cryptocurrency market and traditional markets.
