On June 14, the National Assembly passed the law! Some definitions that you should know, included in the video are:

- cryptocurrency

- digital currency

- virtual currency

What we are currently 'playing and being played' according to the concept of the law is digital currency!

With the law passed, we must understand that digital currency has been recognized in Vietnam. Therefore, temporarily, all related matters (or cases) can be (subject to) handled in Vietnam.

Regarding the question of buying/selling digital currency, although the law has been passed, there are no regulations yet, but I think there will be regulations within the timeframe from now until January 1, 2026. There will be trials, then precise regulations, ... and guidance for us to comply with the law.

But the most important question is whether buying and selling will be taxed or affected; there is no accurate answer yet, only predictions. For example: the tax on investments will be similar to taxes on securities, or personal transactions 'may' (but not certain) not be penalized until there are clear regulations!

We still have to wait for clearer times ahead before we can proceed accordingly!
