The altcoin index has continued to decline since reaching an annual high of 87 on December 4, 2024. Over the past 90 days, 27 out of the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization have outperformed Bitcoin, with the top-performing altcoins in the last 90 days being FARTCOIN, SPX, HYPE, VIRTUAL, and PENDLE.
