BlackRock, the largest asset manager in the world, now owns over 662,500 bitcoins through the iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT) - which represents more than 3% of the total global bitcoin, with a market value of over $72.4 billion as of June 10, 2025.

Of this size, IBIT surpasses most central exchanges, becoming the second largest holder

of bitcoin after Satoshi Nakamoto.
