BlockBeats news, on June 14, ConsenSys founder Joseph Lubin responded to questions about whether MetaMask would issue a token, stating, "We have developed short-term and medium-term plans and strategies, with a core focus on formalizing existing products and other planned protocols. Web3 protocols cannot be separated from tokens."
