According to military observers from BILD, the Iranian army was blind, deaf, and mute in the face of Israel's attack.

The Israeli Air Force used a total of about two hundred aircraft (F-35, F-16, and F-15) in Iran to attack about a hundred targets, and did not lose a single one. Moreover, the bombers approached their targets at distances of up to 50 km to drop guided bombs.

However, the air defense system reacted only at one single base. Hundreds of officers and pilots in Iran were not even aware that the bombing had begun. This indicates a massive cyber attack using electronic warfare means, which likely started as the Israeli planes took off, suggests BILD.

Israel apparently managed to disable Iranian radars for several hours using electronic warfare means. The Iranian Air Force, which took to the air, simply did not see the targets. Furthermore, Israel apparently disabled communication between various air defense units and private communication systems - mobile phones, radios, and pagers.
