#IsraelIranConflict Protests call for retaliation against Israel in Tehran Many people took to the streets of the capital Tehran to call on Iranian authorities to retaliate against Israel's air strikes. Some chanted slogans against the US and Israel, waved Iranian flags and carried portraits of Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei. "We cannot let him continue, otherwise Iran will become Gaza," Abbas Ahmad, 52, said, referring to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Iran confirmed that Israel had killed Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces Mohammad Bagheri; Commander of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) Hossein Salami; General Gholam Ali Rashid, head of the Khatam al-Anbiya Central Command; and General Amir Ali Hajizadeh, commander of the IRGC air force. At least six Iranian nuclear scientists were also killed.
