Qatar's support for the development plans of the Central Bank of Syria and the strengthening of relations between the Central Bank of Syria and the Central Bank of Qatar were among the topics discussed during the meeting between the Governor of the Central Bank of Syria, Dr. 'Abd al-Qadir al-Hosri', and His Excellency 'Khalifa al-Mahmoud', the Chargé d'Affaires at the Embassy of Qatar in Damascus. During the meeting, ways to enhance cooperation between the two sides were discussed to promote financial stability and support economic progress in Syria.
The meeting was also an opportunity to thank the sisterly State of Qatar for what it has provided and continues to provide in support of Syria and to emphasize the importance of continuing coordination and cooperation in the upcoming phase, in a manner that serves common interests and enhances opportunities for development and financial stability.
