Ppl asking me if fartcoin listing on coinbase gonna be a sell the news event Firstly, t1 cex listings can absolutely be sell the news events, arguably more often than not, however it depends on many different variables One of the most important is liquidity. If a coin is fairly illiquid, then a t1 cex listing is an excuse for holders to send in their coins to sell as they've been given additional liquidity. Thus creating a sell the news event However, in fartcoin's case, it's *extremely* liquid already on dex, so anyone who's holding it rn can easily sell without a coinbase listing (except the top whales, but thats the same for all assets on earth). In fact, fartcoin's initial liquidity depth on Coinbase will be *nowhere near* as deep as on dex If it is going to mark a local top, will more likely be to do with the fact it's just pumped +80% and needs time to chill, or maybe the market as a whole needs to chill To answer the question - I don't think so, but u never know. Fartcoin is arguably the coin of the cycle in terms of non-crypto mindshare and its thus far been fairly inaccessible to normies/ppl that aren't on chain. It's now getting listed on the top retail exchange. Regardless of what happens short term, when the coinbase app climbs the rankings in the app store (key metric to track to know when we're nearing a top in alt szn, currently rank 374), fartcoin gonna be there
