The Federal Reserve should cut interest rates by 100 basis points

The United States released CPI data, with the non-seasonally adjusted CPI annual rate for May at 2.4%, expected to be 2.50%. Then, someone who is at odds with the Federal Reserve posted on social media: the data is very good, the Federal Reserve should cut interest rates by 1 percentage point.

However, the Federal Reserve's dot plot indicates that a rate cut won't happen until at least September; this is a hurdle that cannot be crossed.

The Federal Reserve is not cutting rates, yet every time inflation data exceeds expectations, it shows that the U.S. economy is strong, but whenever data comes out, the big brother always calls for the Federal Reserve to lower rates.
