The European Commission presented the 18th sanctions package against the Russian Federation
The project includes:
🔴 sanctions against "Nord Stream"
🔴 reduction of the oil price cap to $45 per barrel
🔴 restrictions for 77 vessels of the "shadow fleet"
🔴 ban on transactions with sanctioned banks
🔴 disconnection of 22 banks from SWIFT
🔴 ban on the import of oil products from Russia
🔴 sanctions against 22 companies supporting the Russian military
The package still needs to be approved by the EU Council.
