🪙 #Ripple finally makes the XRP network not so terrible.
🚀 At Apex 2025, representatives from Ripple announced that they will launch a sidechain to the $XRP Ledger — a network compatible with Ethereum (EVM), where smart contracts, DeFi applications, NFTs, DEX, and user tokens will be properly supported.
💎 They promise that it will remain just as fast and cheap, but will finally gain the necessary functionality.
However, they say everything will be released in the second quarter of 2025 (which, by the way, ends on June 30). The testnet is already running, but it still all looks very much like hype. 😁
