It's only been a month and a half since I started actively trading on spot. I started with a small deposit — $200. One might think, what can you earn on that? But it was not about the numbers. It was about the approach, and mine was not ideal from the very beginning. Only with experience did I begin to understand that the market teaches you not to trade, but to wait.

The first month went by under the banner of emotions. Everyone around was shouting 'altseason!', Ethereum was soaring, and it seemed that missing such movements was just a crime. There was no strategy or calmness in my mind — just the desire to be in the market so as not to be 'out of the game'.

The most painful trade? ETH. I entered at the highs, without a stop, out of emotion. I just couldn't bear that the price was going up without me. The market gave a pullback of -12%, and I just sat in the red, hoping it would 'recover'. And it really did recover... but I lost a week of time and my nerves. If I had just stayed out of the market, I could have later taken the movement with the correction and earned more.

All losing trades — and there were $14 worth — were not based on a system. They were out of boredom. You sit, look at the chart, nothing happens, and suddenly you catch yourself thinking: 'what if I enter?', 'well, it doesn't hurt to try'. And now you're in the market — without a setup, without confidence, purely for the dopamine.

But the profitable trades — at $35 — were precise, calm, with clear levels and with a stop. Just patience. Just analysis. Just waited until I was allowed in, and took it.

The result after a month and a half:

+10.5% to the deposit.

A complete understanding that the market is not about 'entering and flying into profit', but about discipline, system, and the ability not to hinder yourself.

I understood an important thing:

When you're out of position — you're in the safest point of trading.

And when you jump in at the highs just because 'everyone is in the market', you've already lost.

Now my goal is not to 'guess the movement', but not to violate my risk and not to enter without reason. If it doesn't allow me in — then it's not for me. The market is not going away, chances will come again.

And yes — 5–10% per month on spot — that's not 'little'. That's great. That's the stability that no high-yield Telegram channel with '100x alts' can provide.

If I had started with the understanding that 'breaking even' is already a win, I would have avoided all these impulsive entries. But perhaps this is something I needed to go through.
