The biggest trading mistake I made was 'averaging down without setting a stop loss.'

At that time, I was full of confidence, thinking it was just a short-term pullback. As a result, the price kept plummeting, and I could only watch my principal get halved, and my emotions collapsed as well.

This lesson made me truly understand

A stop loss is not admitting defeat; it is discipline!

Before placing any trade, set a clear entry and exit plan, and strictly execute it.

I gradually improved my trading discipline through the following three points:

1️⃣ Focus only on 2-3 targets each week to reduce FOMO distractions.

2️⃣ Develop the habit of writing a 'trading journal' to record the reasons and emotions behind each decision.

3️⃣ Use small positions to simulate strategies, test win rates, and refine my relationship with the market.

💡 A piece of advice for beginners:

Instead of chasing spikes and selling off, it's better to first learn how not to lose money.

In this 24/7 market, preserving capital is more important than making money—stay alive steadily, and opportunities will naturally come.
