Upbit Lists Axelar (AXL) and Balance (EPT), Prices Surge

South Korea's leading cryptocurrency exchange Upbit listed Axelar (AXL) and Balance (EPT) on June 10. AXL supports trading with USDT and Korean Won (KRW), while EPT only supports trading with USDT.

After the listing announcement, the prices of both tokens surged rapidly:

AXL increased by 65% within 24 hours, reaching $0.53, with a market cap exceeding $500 million, ranking as the 114th largest cryptocurrency globally.

EPT rose by 22%, with a current price of $0.0078, and the 24-hour trading volume soared by 85% to $19.7 million.

This listing occurred during a general recovery in the cryptocurrency market, which currently has a global market cap of $3.5 trillion (an increase of 1.8%). Upbit's trading volume also increased by 60%, reaching $1.8 billion.

Recently, Upbit has seen price increases after multiple new token listings, such as SOON rising by 15%, DEEP doubling, and WCT surging by 36%.
