I don't know how to tell you this, but you're probably a lot stronger than you think you are. I know, for example, that you're strong enough to run an Ethereum node, or even to stake from home.

I acknowledge that every day progress feels slow, but it's absolutely insane to realize the real-world penetration cryptocurrency has experienced in fifteen years. Our memes are becoming reality.

Ether exists primarily as a transactional cryptocurrency, not as a staking token. Staking is a second order benefit, not the goal.

I know I'm an old man shouting at clouds, but staking is a security job and should be incentive-limited to ~33% of issuance to ensure that Ether is the currency of Ethereum forever.

I think there's a fair chance that Ethereum's multi-client implementation will be a strong model for successful projects.
